GREYTON MORNING MARKET
From Desiree's preservative-free cheeses in a wide range of flavours to Jon's low-fat yoghourt, labneh and farm butter, Ilse and Rhiaan's freshly made breads and Lesley's range of home-made pestos. Samosas and roti are on offer under the Genadendal Bakery gazebo, for those wanting a taste of the East. Greyton's famous lemon products include everyone's favourite pancakes stall where the queue is a social event and patience is rewarded with lemon curd or cinnamon fillings, fresh lemon ice cream and lemonade. Lemon cordial is the speciality of Stella who also stocks dried fruits.
Arts and crafts abound, with Norma's hand-stitched bookmarks and watercolours and Gill's exquisite calligraphy cards for those very special occasions. You are free to browse while enoying a takeaway snack, choosing from Ilse's delicious biltong, a bacon and egg roll from Yvette or one of Peter the Pie Man's duck and cherry pies. Or join the throng in the social space and enjoy a coffee and meet up with the locals.   Fresh organic vegetables, bottled fruits, Val's renowned marmalades and jams - Greyton market has it all. Then there are hand-crafted hessian hats and bags, wine-barrel creations, bioremedies and smudge sticks, not to mention Gretha's serene white candles and Sandra's fragrant essential oils.
And make sure you do not miss the unforgettable pancakes at Abri's pankcake stall.
