Swimming and Picnics
Swimming and picnics are a great activity for the whole family after the Saturday Morning Market. Greyton is flanked by two rivers, one of which originates in the mountain resulting in ice cold, crystal clear water that is irresistible on a hot summers day. The Gobos has a delightful picnic spot along its banks, so do what Greytonians do … pack a basket, tuck a picnic rug under your arm and enjoy a relaxing day outdoors with family and friends.
In summer months when the rivers in town are quite dry, head off to Greyton Eco Camp where you will find “Greyton’s Beach” and the cool, deep Riviersonderend River.
When you visit Greyton remember that your ultimate Greyton accommodation can be booked through our offices, bookings@greytontourism.com or 028 254 9564/9414
