Have your wedding in a unique location — on the banks of the Riviersonderend River, with the mountains as the perfect backdrop. Turn your wedding day into a wedding weekend and spend this special time with your family and friends.
The stone-clad lapa, only a few metres from the bank of the Riviersonderend River, is a very popular venue for the bride who dreams of a wedding in the country. It is perfect for smaller weddings of up to 80 (seated) guests, as well as having room for a dance area.
For larger weddings, Oewerzicht has a 25m x 14,5m freeform (stretch) tent which can accommodate up to 150 (seated) guests, as well as room for a larger dance floor.
For weddings in either of the venues on the farm, Oewerzicht requires a booking of all the accommodation facilities closest to the venue for two nights, i.e. the six tents and the farm cottages, Welgelee, Bergzicht and Citrus, over weekends. A mid-week wedding can be booked for one night only.

Oewerzicht can accommodate 42-44 wedding guests in its accommodation facilities on the farm, and there is plenty of additional room available (self-catering and B&B) in nearby Greyton.
